Before your dumpster arrives
A few simple things help us drop off and pick up quickly and safely.
Choosing the spot
- Avoid areas near walkways or traffic.
- Leave at least 100 feet in length for the drop-off.
- Pick a level surface, free of debris, low wires and tree branches.
On service days
- Move parked cars or anything that could block the dumpster.
- Unlock gates, or give our driver a key or code to get in.
Getting ready for pickup
- Keep the load level and evenly spread out.
- Nothing sticking out above the top of the walls.

Which size do I need?
The 15 yard (14′ × 7′ × 4′) suits cleanouts, small remodels and yard work. The 20 yard (13′ × 7′ × 6′) has taller sides for whole-house cleanouts, bigger remodels and roofing jobs. Still not sure? Call (330) 550-2806 and describe the job.
How do I pick my drop-off and pickup days?
When you book online you choose both dates on a calendar. You'll see the full price, including sales tax, before you pay, and the receipt is emailed to you.
How full can I fill it?
Up to the top of the walls. Nothing should stick out over the top, so the load can be covered and hauled safely.
Can I put shingles in it?
Yes. Roofing shingles are heavy, so fill the dumpster only about half full with shingles.
Do I need a permit?
If the dumpster sits on your own driveway or property, usually not. If it needs to go on the street, check with your city or township first.
What can't I put in it?
Tires, liquids, batteries, appliances with freon, electronics, gas tanks and pressurized cans, mercury items, explosives, and animal or medical waste. See the full list above, or call us if you're unsure.
